Day 1 in Luleå. Time: 12:10 p.m.

Luleå dairy. Day 1. Time: 12:10 p.m.

Reached Lulea at 11:00 a.m. by train. We stayed in Uppsala for four days after reaching Sweden on 28 August and then took the night-train to Luleå. It was a 13 hour long journey. We booked berths and slept most of the time.

Train ticket price: around 900 SEK per person.

I am here for two years to pursue a master's in international business. My wife Asma and son Wafiq are accompanying me.

Took a taxi to our rented one-room apartment. The apartment is small, nice, cozy. It has an attached kitchen and bathroom. The Chinese landlord is very nice. He even lent us his bicycle.

Weather is gloomy. The town seems very quiet. Saw only few people in the streets.

Now we are heading out to the grocery store. Will prepare lunch after coming back from the grocery.

Our new journey, living in Luleå, begins...

I opened this blog to record my life at Luleå University of Technology as an international student and how best we can adapt to Swedish lifestyle. It will be interesting reading these after five / six years.
