Day 3 in Luleå. Time: 9:30 p.m.

Luleå diaries. Day 3. 9:30 p.m.

I attended the welcome session organized by the business department of the university. Was surprised to know that over 500 students enrolled in the undergraduate level but in the master’s level there were just 14 international students, out of which seven are from Bangladesh! There is however possibilities that few more will join next week.

In the afternoon, we went to the city center to explore another grocery shop. Found Willy’s. I think we need to buy daily commodities from here often because prices are lesser here compared to ICA.

There are some tricks to be learned too; for instance fish fingers are cheaper that fish nuggets, both being of same weight. Red apples are way cheaper than green apples. Apples are in fact cheaper than lemons.  Apple juices are however more expensive than lemon juice.

Yes, we did the obvious – bought red apples and lemon juice.

Tonight we had salmon, buttered bread and French fries in dinner. Asma being an excellent cook is expanding her horizon in different directions. Wafiq is her abiding assistance.
